MICRO TESE/ TESA / PESA

A Microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (MTSE) is the process of harvesting sperm from the testicles of a male. It can be used for men with non-obstructive azoospermia, men who have concerns about their fertility, and men who have undergone previous failed IVF programs.

Microsurgical testicular sperm extraction is usually recommended by doctors when they see no other way to collect sperm from the body, such as auto transplantation or cryopreservation. Sperm can be collected in a variety of ways, including with surgical open biopsy, through an abdominal puncture, or through injectable medications. Sometimes it’s not possible to get sperm directly from the testicle, so doctors will have to extract it from another body part.

Why is microtese better than a biopsy?

Microtese is a medical procedure that has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its minimally invasive nature and accuracy. It is a more effective and less expensive alternative to traditional biopsy procedures, which involve the removal of tissue samples. Microtese offers the same accuracy as biopsy, but without the risks associated with it such as scarring or infection. Furthermore, it can be used to detect diseases earlier on in their development, allowing for early diagnosis and treatment. This makes microtese a much better option than biopsy for many patients.

Testicular sperm aspiration (TESA)

TESA or Testicular sperm aspiration is for those males who suffer from sperm ejaculation problems or the semen doesn’t carry any sperm but they are present in the testicles. In this the sperm are retrieved with only a needle. It is performed for men with obstructive azoospermia. In this procedure local anesthesia is given and there is almost no down time. It is one of the best method for sperm aspiration for those suffering from male infertility.

Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA)

PESA IVF is an advanced fertility treatment that couples are increasingly turning to when traditional treatments have failed. This type of In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) involves the removal of a single sperm from the male partner, which is then injected directly into the female partner’s egg. It is a more efficient and cost-effective way of obtaining viable embryos and has helped countless couples achieve their dreams of having a child. PESA IVF also eliminates some of the risks associated with traditional IVF techniques, such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). This makes it an attractive option for those who may not be able to afford more expensive treatments, or who may not be eligible for other fertility treatments due to health complications.
